There is comfort in their sunsets as they show a constant reminder of the peace that my children now enjoy. When MyPublisher offered a canvas print for our sunset names I knew I needed to create something special to show off these beautiful “baby pictures”. She does these beautiful memorials for free (if you like the image you can purchase a digital file for a reasonable price but the web post is completely free). Since the winter of 2008 over 15,000 children’s names have been written in the sand at sunset on Christian’s Beach. She saw him writing his name in the sand at this beach and since then she’s been blessing families with this special memorial. (If you didn’t name your child she will draw a sweet heart in the sand.)Īfter her son Christian went to Heaven, he came to her in a dream. She’s dedicated her time to honor the memory of babies in Heaven by writing each of their names in the sand at sunset on a special beach. I was blessed with an amazing gift from a woman named CarlyMarie in Perth Australia. Three children very much hoped for, prayed for, loved, joined their two siblings in Heaven. After three short hours with each of them in our arms, they passed into the arms of God. February 3rd, 2012 I delivered triplets at 22 weeks. Some of you know my story (read more here: Blessed with More). Most recently three beautiful names were captured with a gorgeous sky of purple, pink and gold on the beaches of Australia: Alice Mae, Elliot Nathan and Alexis Marie. We have a blazing pink, red and yellow sky set behind the crashing waves of Lake Superior by and Jay Steinke. I have prints of the masters filling the sky with colorful brush strokes. There’s the snapshots I took of the sun setting each night on the little lake in Canada where my husband and I spent our honeymoon. I have them from different moments in my life as well as horizons captured by professional photographers. My home is filled with beautiful skies and stunning sunsets.
